It all begins with the shape of the wood and the natural striation of the grain. Every decorative tray is food-safe and every planter has a protective coating so it can be displayed outdoors as well as indoors. Large cracks that naturally occur are filled with an epoxy resin to add strength and character. We coat each piece with a minimum of four layers of polyurethane - let it dry for 30 days - and then decorative bowls also get a coat of bees wax to bring out the beauty of the natural color of the wood.
